Peameal Bacon

Peameal bacon is a Canadian classic! It’s made from back bacon from lean pork loin, rolled in cornmeal. It makes a delicious and hearty breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients: Pork (product of Ontario), water, cornmeal, salt, dextrose, sugar, sodium phosphate, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrate.

Each case includes: 20 packs of peameal bacon, approximately 5 per pack, 1.5oz each. Our peameal bacon is vacuum-packed.

Cooking Instructions

Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Keep the packaging sealed while defrosting.

To cook in the skillet: Drizzle vegetable oil in the skillet. Set the stove top to medium-high. Add the sliced peameal bacon and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Use a spatula to flip the peameal bacon and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, until completely cooked.
