Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Keep the packaging sealed while defrosting.

To cook in the oven: Season your roast and place it in a shallow roasting pan. Oven-sear by placing the uncovered roast in preheated 230°C (450°F) oven for 10 minutes. Then lower the heat to 140°C (275°F) and cook uncovered to the desired doneness. Remove from the oven when the internal temperature is 3°C (5°F) before the final temperature, as your roast will continue to cook while resting outside of the oven. Cover with foil and let stand for at least 15 minutes before carving into thin slices.

Beef roast is a popular dish made by cooking a large piece of beef in the oven or slow cooker until it is tender and flavourful.

The best cuts of beef for roasting are typically the ribeye or sirloin. These cuts are well-marbled and tender, making them ideal for roasting. Our beef roasts are made from AAA-grade Ontario sirloin beef.

Seasoning a beef roast can be as simple as salt and pepper, or you can get creative with herbs and spices. Garlic, rosemary, and thyme are popular choices for seasoning a beef roast.
