Black Forest Ham

Black forest ham is delicious in sandwiches and homemade soups! The whole family will be asking for more.

Ingredients: Pork (product of Ontario), water, salt, sea salts, brown sugar, cultured corn syrup solids, sodium phosphates, sugar, sodium erythorbate, sodium nitrite, natural and/or liquid smoke.

Each case includes: 1 black forest ham, 2-3 lb average. Our black forest ham is vacuum-packed.

Cooking Instructions

Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Keep the packaging sealed. Is fully-cooked, heat to taste.

To cook in the oven: Cook from a thawed state. Pre-heat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and cook, uncovered, until an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C) is reached (use a meat thermometer to check that ham has reached correct temperature). A fully-cooked whole ham will take about 15-18 minutes per pound (500 g); while a fully-cooked half-ham will need about 18-24 minutes per pound (500 g) while defrosting.
