Everyone loves a savoury beef roast, made from AAA-grade Ontario beef. Beef roasts are best prepared using slow moist-heat cooking methods, such as braising, to tenderize the meat and ensure it stays moist in the oven.

Ingredients: Beef (product of Ontario). AAA-grade. Aged minimum 45 days.
Each Case Includes: 1 beef roast, 3-4 lb each. Our beef roasts are vacuum-packed.

Cooking Instructions
Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Keep the packaging sealed while defrosting.
To cook in the oven: Season your roast and place it in a shallow roasting pan. Oven-sear by placing the uncovered roast in preheated 230°C (450°F) oven for 10 minutes. Then lower the heat to 140°C (275°F) and cook uncovered to the desired doneness. Remove from the oven when the internal temperature is 3°C (5°F) before the final temperature, as your roast will continue to cook while resting outside of the oven. Cover with foil and let stand for at least 15 minutes before carving into thin slices.

Medium-rare 63°C (145°F) = 2 to 2 3/4 hrs
Medium to well-done 71°C (160°F) or greater = 2 1/4 to 3 hrs
