Bratwurst Sausages

Bratwurst sausages are a traditional German treat! Pair them with sauerkraut for a salty and sweet flavour. 

Ingredients: Pork (product of Ontario), water, salt, spice, dextrose, herbs, sodium phosphate.

Each case includes: 36 bratwurst sausages, 4oz each. Our sausages are vacuum-packed, 2 per pack.

Cooking Instructions

Defrost overnight in the refrigerator. Keep the packaging sealed while defrosting.

To cook on the grill: Grill the sausages over direct heat (lid closed). Grill for 8 to 10 minutes, until browned and fully cooked. Turn 4 times while cooking.

To cook in the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place the sausages evenly on the cooking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).

To cook in the skillet: Cook on medium-high heat for 5 to 6 minutes, until browned. Turn often while cooking. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add ½ cup of water. Cook for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).

Internal temperature: 74°C (165°F).
